Jewelry Tutorial ::: Boho Bauble Bracelet with Lobster Claw Magnetic Clasp

Hey hey! Here's to another jewelry tutorial! My name is Sarah James, thanks for checking out this week's how-to. Each week we will be bringing you a backyard beading session with tutorials for some super fun and creative jewelry pieces using the fabulously unique and blingy Jesse James Beads! Enjoy!

Boho Bauble Bracelet

This style of bracelet is so funky and fun to wear. The varying textures of the beads really add a unique element to the bracelet's style and the magnetic "lobster claw" clasp is just so different - absolutely stunning!

Step 1: The Setup (Here's what ya need!)

The Jesse James Beads components used.

Jesse James Beads components:

-JJB Inspiration, Pacifico
-JJB Inspiration Strands, Pacifico #1 and Pacifico #2 
-JJB Design Element, Venus
-JJB Magnetic Grand Finale Clasp, "Lobster Claw" (#13 in silver, gold coming super soon!) 

Additional components:
-Beadalon stringing wire, 7-Strand (we used a gold color)
-Beadalon Crimp Tubes, size #2 
-Flat-nose pliers
-Nipper pliers

:: Step 2 ::

Bracelet Prep - Lobster Claw Magnetic with 3-Strand Base, Part 1

 

:: Step 3 :: 

 String 1-2 smaller sized beads onto all three wires

 :: Step 4 ::  

 

Work with each wire strand separately. Fill each strand with beads until you are able to pinch the wires together without much wire showing between the beads. Try using varying shapes to create a dynamic look. Each strand should have about 1-4 beads, depending on bead sizes used.

 

:: Step 5 ::

 

Slide one big boho bead onto all 3 strands.

:: Step 6 ::

Repeat step 3c and 3b until the bracelet fits comfortably around your wrist. 

**Note: Measure beaded portion of bracelet approximately 1" short to account for the amount of space the Lobster Claw magnetic will take up.
